How to kill a seagull with a Dynamite in How to Fish — Everyone’s Dream achievement
I love Seagulls in real life, but not so much in How to Fish, since it takes them just two seconds to steal your fish. However, you can always recover the stolen items by shooting those birds down.
The Everyone’s Dream achievement takes things to the next level, since you have to kill a seagull using a Dynamite. This task is easier said than done, so let’s get to it.
How to kill a seagull with a Dynamite in How to Fish
First, reach to Island 2 (Forest) after killing the Spider Crab. This is where you get to purchase the Dynamite. Incidentally, I completed this achievement on the third island. The third island has open areas that make it suitable to track and kill a seagull.
Purchase a stack of dynamite and keep it in your inventory. Next, catch a fish with your rod. Any fish works, but go for a bigger one so that you can spit it easily amidst the foliage. Next, take out the explosive, light it up, and immediately put it back in the inventory.
When you do so, the lit fuse will go on a pause and it won’t explode. However, it will remain active like a ticking bomb in your inventory. I am unsure why it works like that, but it gives us an advantage.
The moment a seagull swoops in, you have two ways to complete the achievement. You can pick the seagull up and then equip the live explosive from your inventory. You’ll die, but so will the seagull from the explosion, thereby completing the objective.
A trickier, but safer approach, is to wait for the seagull to latch onto the fish. Throw the explosive at the same moment, and it will kill the bird from the explosion. However, timing the explosive is key, but I managed to get lucky (instead of killing myself).
There are plenty more achievements to complete throughout How to Fish, and one of the hardest one is to finish the entire game in less than an hour. If you want to enjoy the game instead, you can look to collect every species of fish available across different locations.
