For me, a JRPG doesn't matter all that much unless the villain is the main event. This has been the case since Final Fantasy VI graced us with the magic of Kefka, and plenty of other series followed suit. With the Switch, we got a revolutionary era of JRPGs, and thankfully, the villains also made their mark.
