When I first heard word that Chinese studio Eclipse Glow Games was preparing to show the world its highly anticipated PS5 action game Tides of Annihilation in China, I couldn’t help but laugh at the irony considering the game is based on my home in the UK.
Plans were promptly made to ship me over 8,000km to the studio’s office in Chengdu to get two hours of hands-on time with the title.
