Konoha is the strongest known village in the world of Naruto, and the majority of the shinobi who have made a name for themselves in the world of ninja stem from this village. The most important characters in the story have had their roots set in Konoha, and this isn't a surprise when one considers the fact that it was the very first village to be established by the two strongest people of their time, Hashirama and Madara.
