Fractured Worlds Also Hitting Switch Next Week

Developer Laser Guided Games announced that its action RPG Fractured Worlds will also be available on Nintendo Switch when it fully releases next week. The Switch version will join the previously announced PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 5 release on August 26, 2026. It has been available in Early Access on the Epic Games Store since October 2025.

Fractured Worlds is set in a dark fantasy world where a cataclysm fragmented reality into multiple realms. Players are tasked with exploring these realms and uncovering the truth behind the fractured state of the world. The classless progression lets players wield different types of weapons, each with their own weight, speed, and moveset, while exploration takes players to procedurally-generated environments that include medieval dungeons, enchanted forests, and futuristic industrial cities. Players can share map shards with each other, which allows co-op gameplay in dungeons with random modifiers, riches, and encounters. Players can also encounter emergent multiplayer, letting them cooperate with, or work against, each other.
