Dragon Ball is firmly in its middle age now, as it turns 42 later this year, but that doesn't mean Akira Toriyama's beloved franchise is without secrets and surprises still. Case in point: Despite Vegeta becoming the franchise's second leading man, we've yet to meet all of his family members. King Vegeta has had a sizable role in storylines set in the past, like the opening of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and Vegeta's brother Tarble was introduced in the OVA Dragon Ball: The Return of Son Goku and Friends! But Vegeta's mother has never been seen before — until now. Well... kinda.
