For the most part, One Piece Day gave the fans the official rankings for the 2nd Worldwide Popularity Poll, which was won by the main character, Monkey D. Luffy. However, the biggest announcement came at the very end of the event, as One Piece officially confirmed the production of two new theatrical movie releases.
