A new report indicates that, other than the released Marathon and Destiny: Rising, only one other Bungie game survived the studio's issues, and it's not Destiny 3. Destiny 2 received its final update on June 9, after Bungie announced on May 21, 2026, that it would stop making updates and new content for the game. Sony purchased the studio for $3.6 billion to bolster its live-service production, but things went wrong, and Bungie is now in serious trouble.
