New Vampire Survivors Expansion Legacy of the Bloodmoon Release Date Set

The new and promised Vampire Survivors expansion Legacy of the Bloodmoon got a release date. Poncle first teased the add-on back in June 2026 during Summer Game Fest and said it would be out this year. Now, we know it will launch on August 28, 2026.

With the Steam page already being live and the initial announcement already bringing up some additions, we actually know quite a lot about what’s on the way. This expansion involves Saint Baal’Thasar and members of the Bloodmoon clan. Over 10 characters will be present, though the only ones we know so far are Ashtart, Baal’Thasar, Calogero Bloodmoon, Malice Bloodmoon, and Sargon. Over 16 weapons will be in this update too, with some of the revealed ones being Blacken Firmament, FireBall, Incineration, and Scarlet Needle.

Prior to this, we saw another crossover update. The Balatro Ante Chamber showed up in October 2025. Since then, we’ve also seen a VR version and Vampire Crawlers spin-off. Poncle is also working on Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton.

Vampire Survivors is available for the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices, and the Legacy of the Bloodmoon DLC expansion will arrive on August 28, 2026.
