PachiPals Game Boy Color Release Announced for October
Specialist retro publisher Incube8 Games announced a physical Game Boy Color release for Rebusmind’s creature collector PachiPals. The physical Game Boy Color version is available to pre-order from Incube8 Games’s online store for $49.99 and will release on October 18, 2026. The edition includes a sealed box, a clear gray cartridge, a clear cartridge protector, an instruction booklet, and a sticker sheet. A digital ROM version can be purchased for $13.99, with a free demo also available.
PachiPals blends monster catching with pinball and pachinko elements. The game sees players explore the region of Astria while capturing over a hundred different types of PachiPals and battling against other trainers. Players can capture PachiPals into a Sphere in pinball-like challenges. Combat sees players dropping Spheres into dynamic pachinko duel boards, with positioning, timing, monster speed, elemental strengths, and special Skills all having an impact.
