"Now, The Fight Becomes Super!" - This SNES-Inspired Fighting Game Is Basically Transformers Meets Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots

'Super ROBO OH' is getting a Steam demo later this year.

Almost six years ago, a small Japan-based developer called Foxy Boxy Games released ROBO OH, a Famicom-inspired fighting game for PC (Steam) about a group of robots battling it out in a tournament to be declared the "king".

The game, in question, went on to receive unanimous user reviews on Steam following its release, and has continued to be updated in the years since, even receiving a network mode earlier this year, thanks to beta servers located in Japan and the US. It seems, though, that isn't the only thing the team has been working on behind the scenes, with the developer teasing that a follow-up, called Super ROBO OH, is also on the way.
