X-Men Cast Confirmed to Include Inde Navarette as Rogue, Adam Driver as Mister Sinister, Maya Boyd as Storm, and More | D23 2026

Marvel Studios has confirmed a long list of names for its new MCU X-Men movie reboot, with its cast now including Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Adam Driver as Mister Sinister, Maya Boyd as Storm, and more.

The comic book movie company confirmed just a portion of the cast at D23 2026. Some of the actors in attendance – such as Kit Connor as Cyclops and Samara Weaving as Emma Frost – were previously announced, but we'll share the full lineup below.

Inde Navarrette – Rogue

Adam Driver – Mister Sinister

Maya Boyd – Storm

Christopher Abbott – Professor X

Sadie Sink – Jean Grey

Kit Connor – Cyclops

Samara Weaving – Emma Frost

There is a lot to unpack here. First off, those rumors that Alien alum Cailee Spaeny would be playing Rogue have been thoroughly debunked, as Obsession breakout Navarette will be using her power-absorbing abilities in the MCU instead.

Driver, meanwhile, has been rumored to be circling a few roles, including the Master of Magnetism himself, Magneto. While some had correctly predicted the Star Wars veteran's role, he's now confirmed to be playing X-Men villain and evil mastermind Mister Sinister.

Navarrette and Driver have garnered quite the reputation on the big screen, Boyd's film resume doesn't seem to be quite as extensive. Her part harnessing the power of Mother Nature as Storm will see her take her biggest part yet, with past projects including 2023 short Deadbeat, as well as some work on Broadway.

Rogue, Mister Sinister, and Storm were the big surprises, but not to be outdone was the announcement that Abbott will lead as X-Men mentor Professor Charles Xavier. He had was rumored to be in the running to play the mind-reading telepath recently, with his presence at D23 confirming his spot on the team of mutants. Movie fans will recognize him from his parts in projects like Poor Things, Possessor, and It Comes at Night.

Marvel Studios has also confirmed its MCU X-Men movie has a release date: May 5, 2028.
