Director Kota Furushima has apologized for Beast of Reincarnation's shortcomings while promising that Game Freak will continue polishing the game in future updates. Beast of Reincarnation launched on August 4, 2026, for consoles and PC and was a day-one addition to Xbox Game Pass, representing an ambitious new project for Game Freak outside the Pokemon franchise.
