It's easy to forget that Skyrim is The Elder Scrolls 5 sometimes because most anyone is going to simply call it Skyrim, and while that is perhaps the eventual fate of The Elder Scrolls 6, all fans have is the numbered title. Or at least, that's all fans had after the initial announcement in 2018 until Xbox CEO Asha Sharma teased the official Elder Scrolls 6title during a recent (and protested over layoffs) visit to Bethesda.
