Mortal Shell 2 release countdown: Exact date and time
Mortal Shell 2 is coming soon to PC and console users worldwide, and you won’t have to wait long to begin your adventure. Developed by Cold Symmetry, Mortal Shell 2 is a standalone sequel to the first title that came out in 2020.
There are two different release windows based on which edition you opt for.

Mortal Shell 2 releases worldwide on Thursday, Aug. 20. However, that’s applicable for the standard version of the game. The following countdown will expire once the advanced access goes live.

If you opt for the Devout Edition, you’ll need to pay a little extra. However, you get three extra days of early access since you can start playing from Aug. 17. If you opt for the Standard Edition, however, the following countdown will be applicable for you.

Getting the Devout Edition also gets you the Obsidian Skin set for all your shells that automatically unlock once you find them (the shells) in the game. However, Mortal Shell 2 is a completely single-player experience, so there’s no real advantage in starting early.
