Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the intervening period. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

Not everyone can simply become a hero; sometimes one needs to find their proper calling in insurance, and then get roped into being a hero to save the company. Alex Fuller finds that Ledgerbound tells an entertaining, and horny, tale while offering fun tactical combat.
Not too many RPGs are rooted in South Indian culture. Sam Wachter reports that while Palm Sugar: A Village takes an admirable look a love and grief, its gameplay elements deter it from being a triumph.
Lunar 2: Eternal Blue is regarded by many as a classic RPG in its own right. Sam Wachter sees if the second part of the Lunar Remastered Collection suffers from being in the shadow of its predecessor.
Star Wars Zero Company brings the tactical depth of XCOM together with the cinematic storytelling of Star Wars. In an early look at the game, Imani Jones finds that Bit Reactor’s latest project is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious games the franchise has seen.

NIS America announced a western release date for Village in the Shade. The adventure farming sim will arrive at the end of October, with surely no thematically appropriate days nearby.
During this weekend’s D23 2026 event, Square Enix and Disney released a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV. The video reveals that Coco will be involved in the game as a new world, as well as a late 2027 release window.
STRTL Games has announced .curator, a cinematic adventure RPG coming to PC and consoles. The game is written by Altered Carbon author Richard K. Morgan.
ByteRockers’ Games is partnering with Elysium Game Studio to release Neo Berlin 2087. The cyberpunk action RPG is currently planned to release on PC and consoles in 2028.
Analgesic Productions announced that non-linear adventure RPG Angeline Era is coming to consoles very soon. The game will release on PS4, PS5, and Switch in early September, with an Xbox console release also planned.
The Pokémon Company announced that the Nintendo 3DS’s Pokémon Bank app will end service in February. Meanwhile, the Switch versions of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen will join Pokémon Home in October.
Twigames is running its Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for Hollow Home. The campaign for the isometric narrative RPG has a week left to run ahead of the game’s planned release later this year.
Ledgerbound received a temporary delay, requiring some final approvals before its release on Steam. Those approvals have been granted and RPGamers can now take part in tactical combat while engaging in HR-approved fantasy romance.
