Not long ago, it was easy to forget about some of the great but underrated FPS games releasing throughout the year, since the genre was absolutely stacked with both new titles and sequels on a regular basis. That tidal wave of content has slowed right down, and today, outside of the yearly Call of Duty releases and the occasional double-A launch, the FPS genre is a little bit stagnant.
