Brigandine was always an underground series that never really found the spotlight. I was lucky enough to get to know the first mainline entry back in the PS1 era, and I had a blast trying to unravel more of its obtuse mechanics, as well as continuing to evolve my creatures to their final form. Imagine my surprise when, years after hearing anyone even mention Brigandine, a new entry popped up in Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia.
