I’ll be honest, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the original Mortal Shell. It wasn’t a bad game by any means, but the overall flow of combat never really clicked with me. It felt clunky, often slow, and simply wasn’t satisfying enough to keep me hooked until the end. However, its unique mechanic of claiming shells to alter your stats and playstyle impressed me and left me curious to see what a sequel could do.
