Mortal Shell 2 follows many of the conventions players have come to expect from Soulslike games, including challenging enemies, difficult bosses, and a currency used to strengthen your character. In most Soulslike games, players can find a bonfire, shrine, or similar checkpoint that allows them to reset enemies, restore their health, and spend their accumulated currency to level up.
