In Mortal Shell 2, beacons are hubs that serve as places where you can rest, level up, and fast travel, equivalent to bonfires from the Dark Souls games. One of the key mechanics for beacons that players will be introduced to very early on in their playthrough is “cleansing beacons” of their corruption.
