12 years ago, on November 17, 2014, in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #49, Masashi Kishimoto released the last battle to ever be fought between Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. Ever since the beginning of Naruto Uzumaki in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999, the creator established a fierce rivalry between his protagonist and deuteragonist, Naruto and Sasuke, respectively. This rivalry became a core plot point of the series, which was only resolved at the very end, after the two ended up facing each other in a battle at the Valley of the End.
