Elden Ring Tarnished Edition Receives Pre-Release Trailer

Bandai Namco released a new trailer for FromSoftware’s Elden Ring Tarnished Edition. The minute-long story spotlight gives an introduction to the game’s premise, where players venture through the fractured Lands Between. Elden Ring Tarnished Edition will release on Nintendo Switch 2 on August 28, 2026. It will include the game’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, as well as new armor and customisation features that will also be made available on other platforms.

Elden Ring originally released for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in February 2022. It is an action RPG set in a world created by Souls series creator Hidetaka Miyazaki and A Song of Ice and Fire author George R. R. Martin. The game features the mysterious Elden Ring, a power sought by many adventurers that bestows the title of Elden Lord of the Lands Between.
