Chronoscript: The Endless End Demo Released

8-Bit Shotgun: This auto shotgun is a retro game console in gun form. It consumes game cartridges as ammo and keeps score as you use it during a match. It's similar to the Maven Shotgun, but with better range.
Mega Buster: Mega Man's blaster fires explosive rounds that can be charged up, and it allows you to do a slide dash move while you're wielding it, as long as you have stamina.
Midas' Masterpiece: This pistol will kill anyone with a single headshot, but there's only one in each match.
God Mode Llama: A consumable that makes you invincible and allows you to destroy objects by sprinting through them, but you can't use weapons in that state.
Tetris Rift: Similar to a Junk Rift, except it heals you if it lands on you, instead of causing damage.
1-Up Token: Lets you respawn with your inventory after you die, like a better version of the Kenny Token from the South Park event in January.

Shueisha Games and Deskworks have released a free demo for action adventure RPG Chronoscript: The Endless End. The demo is available for PC via Steam and lets players go through the start of the game, up until its first boss encounter. Those who complete the initial contents of the demo will unlock an extra battles, which lets them take on a challenging boss, granting access to additional skills now available in the main demo.

The latest title from the RPG Time: The Legend of Wright developer, Chronoscript: The Endless End puts players in the role of an editor in 2026 who accepts a mysterious assignment at a mountain manor. After arriving, they black out due to a mosquito bite, awakening to discover themselves trapped within a cursed manuscript of an unending tale. To break its cycle, players must explore and find secrets within, while dealing with the corrupted being inside. The game features a 2D world based on pen-and-ink artwork, with 3D elements used for cinematic impact. The game is planned to release for PC and PlayStation 5 in fall 2026.
