Pachinko-inspired roguelike game High Roller Penny announced for PC

STARDUST: Wish of Witch developer Kniv Studio has announced High Roller Penny, a pachinko-inspired roguelike game. It will be available for PC via Steam. A release date was not announced.

Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:

High Roller Penny is a pachinko-inspired roguelike about creating big numbers for your freedom and the happiness of your Bunny Girl.

Drop a ball down your pegboard and watch it fly, with every peg hit adding points to your score. Overcome the quota, and you’ll live to see another round. But strike out, and you’re literally dead!

Procure powerful pegs, create cascading combos, and see your score soar—then do it all over again with new pegs and balls to go even further!

Enter Yami-Pachi, a shady, underground organization that runs illegal, life-or-death gambling games—using their debtors as the players. With immense control over most casinos and money beyond your imagination, it’s the corrupted, beating heart that pumps dirty money through the undercity.

You are a pathetic debtor who was beaten over the head by Penny, a Bunny Girl and debtor handler who abducted you to Yami-Pachi. Unfortunately for you, Penny’s not like the other Bunny Girls—she’s a lunatic who cares for nothing but the High Roller.

Penny is invoking the High Roller Rule! Under Yami-pachi’s watch, a High Roller game pits two bunny girls against each other.

As the challenger, your goal is to defeat all other bunny girls and rise to the top of the ranks! If you win, Penny claims her glory and your debts are fully repaid. If you lose… well, it’s best not to think about it.

Either way, you don’t have much of a choice. Go big… or get executed on the spot!
