"Playing Grand Theft Auto 2 again in 2026, I’ve definitely found myself with a stronger appreciation for its technical improvements over the original. Certainly much greater than I gave it credit for back as a teenager in 1999. The driving is better, the shooting is better – and those are important and welcome gains.
